Undergraduate Linguistics Programs

The department offers three concentrations in the regular major: Language, Society & Communication; Applied Linguistics; and Language & Cognition. Two honors programs are also available in Language Structure & Theory and Language & Cognition. Thirty-six credits in Linguistics are required for the major. An overview sheet describing the degree offerings in Linguistics is also available. Those who wish to apply for the major should fill out an application in advance.
